Bed end breakfast “Casale dell’Antico Mulino” is located in an agritourism environment, it was created inside a large stone manor house, built in the 1920s, and located in the beautiful countryside that frames Spoleto , in the immediate vicinity of the suggestive Fonti del Clitunno, in the valley between Assisi and Spoleto.
In this part of Umbria the water element is dominant: everywhere springs, streams, lakes and ponds, which make the environment fresh and relaxing.
Also in front of our house there is a delightful lake, which in addition to hosting ducks and swans, serves to power an ancient water mill.
• The oil mill, built in 1661, and still functioning since then, is a few steps from the manor house, and today produces an excellent extra virgin olive oil from the Spoleto hills that you can taste.
• 50 meters from “Casale dell’Antico Mulino” there is a 12,000 m2 lake for sport fishing where enthusiasts can fish for trout and carp.
• In the same property there is a large breeding of pigeons for meat and exquisite pigeon pâté, where you can have small tastings that gourmets will appreciate (DIRECT SALES).
